Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room Location: Saint Louis, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,678 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/11/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years required; will consider 1 year if from a Level 1 trauma facility License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: - Scrub experience in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery - Circulate experience required - Heart and lung transplant experience needed for night shift - Must float within service line Description: Responsible for providing nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room. Must have experience scrubbing for cardiac and thoracic cases primarily. Experience in vascular (open and endovascular procedures), transplant (liver, kidney, pancreas), and pancreatic procedures required. Rotating shift times may vary based on unit needs. Call shifts will be required as needed, with 3-4 weekday shifts and 1-2 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. The department handles urgent and emergent cases and is the highest level of care in the region. All staff must enter any missing instruments into the tracking system. The expectation regarding time from call to clock-in is a maximum of 60 minutes for emergencies. The official turnaround time is 40 minutes from call to clock-in. Must have sufficient Level 1 trauma experience. Additional certifications may be required based on unit standards.
