working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in
Saint Louis, Missouri, 63104! Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration:
13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 Years
Required License: Active Nursing License Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Preferred Must-Have: EPIC Experience Description: This is a blended
Medical-Surgical and Progressive Care unit. Primary service lines
include thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, urology, general
surgery, and general medicine. Progressive Care Unit experience is
preferred, but strong Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience will be
considered. Patient ratios are 1:5 for Medical-Surgical/Telemetry
patients and 1:3 for Progressive Care patients. First-time
travelers are accepted. Every other weekend is required. The unit
will consider candidates without specific Progressive Care
experience if they have strong Medical-Surgical/Telemetry
backgrounds. Travelers will not be assigned Progressive Care
patients during their contract, only Medical-Surgical patients.
This unit serves as a backup for trauma and stroke services.
Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory
Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy. The
patient population is mixed acuity, mainly focusing on adult and
geriatric patients. Travelers will not be assigned to Progressive
Care patients but will work primarily with Medical-Surgical
patients. The position requires floating to meet facility needs.
All clinicians must adhere to safety protocols and requirements,
