Job Description:
Lineboat Pilot – St. Louis, MO This is a full-time, exempt-level
position . Job Responsibilities: Navigates vessel and ensures safe
operation of vessel as to not cause injury or damages. Responsible
for safety of all crew and conduct safety meetings. Familiarity
with Sub Chapter M regulations and vessel/crew requirements.
Complete electronic and paper forms and logs such as: navigation
logs, maintenance logs, TMS wheelhouse forms. Responds to any
situation that would require emergency rescue or transit of
persons. Coordinate crew changes, fueling procedures, and grocery
delivery. Perform any other duties as assigned by immediate
supervisor. Job Requirements: Must have a thorough knowledge of
boat operations. Minimum of six months experience as a licensed
pilot on Upper Mississippi River, Lower Mississippi, Ohio River,
and/or Illinois River. Mate (Pilot) or Master’s license of Towing
vessels upon Western Rivers Radar certificate and FCC License
