The Imaging Services Department is a full-service department, providing comprehensive imaging support. Included within the scope of services available are these exam classifications: General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound, Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms and Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine. This department, along with all departments within the hospital, supports the guiding principles of the hospital in providing care that is customized and reflects the patient's needs, values, and choices. Overview Role Purpose The Radiology Technologist performs general diagnostic radiographic procedures to adult and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders Responsibilities Completes registration and prepares patients for procedures. Performs radiographic imaging examinations.
