Job Description:
Doc's is looking for a Line/Prep cook. We have a great Back of
House staff that are more like family than co workers. Looking for
someone with 2+ years experience in kitchens and can follow
recipes/guidelines. Busy kitchen, easy atmosphere!
We close at 7pm during the week and 8pm on weekends, that means you
can be out early enough to enjoy some evenings, Not closing
kitchens at Midnight!
Duties:
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality
standards
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, cutting, and
marinating ingredients
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is prepared in a timely manner and meets quality
standards
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook is preferred with
2 years experience
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety
regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple
tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes
accurately
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a
team
