Job Description Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 05/04/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Summary: Junxion Med Staffing is looking for a PCU/Stepdown RN to take an assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. Give us a call opt 1 Job Details: - Shift: 12H Nights - Total Weekly Hours: 36 - Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH - Trauma Level: - Facility Specific Job Notes: Required Experience and Skills:/n- 2 years of experience in nursing/n- Experience in using ventilators, titration of pressors, and insulin drips/n- Must have proficiency with titration of vasopressors, sedation medication, insulin drips, tracheostomy vents, arterial lines, external pacemakers, and chest tubes/n- Must have been at the bedside within the last 6 months/n- Travel experience required/n/nPreferred Experience:/n- Previous Charge Experience/n/nCertifications Required:/n- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)/n- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)/n- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)/n/nLicensure:/n- Pending License accepted/n- Must have a valid state license at the time of submission/n- Missouri requires an MO license or a compact license in the applicant's home state/n/nCharting and Technical Skills:/n- Experience with EPIC charting system preferred/n- Skills in procedural sedation administration/monitoring, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), telemetry, cardiac telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown/n- Management and interpretation of dysrhythmias/n- Use of Rapid Response/Code teams/n- Management of cardiac and vasoactive drips (including titration)/n- Care of ventilated patients, including BiPAP/CPAP management, high flow nasal cannula, and oxygen administration/n/nAdditional Requirements:/n- No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius/n- EPIC experience required for certain units/n- Must be open to floating to floors of lower acuity to meet facility needs/n- Comfortable with adult patient age groups and high acuity step-down unit settings/n- Familiar with special equipment like Bipap, Opti flow, and art line management When you apply with Junxion, you speak with a live U.S.-based recruiter who understands the travel market.
