Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Belleville, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,300 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Belleville, Illinois, 62226! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid State License required Certifications: ACLS and BLS required Must-Have: - Telemetry experience - Cardiac telemetry experience - Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias - Experience in pre/post cardiac surgery - Proficient in sheath removal and central line management - Capability to manage cardiac drips - Knowledge of procedural sedation administration and monitoring - Experience with chest tubes and non-invasive airway management Description: Night shift position requiring three twelve-hour shifts weekly on a high-risk cardiac unit. This role focuses on telemetry nursing with a patient ratio of 1:5-6. The unit handles adult patients with cardiac diagnoses, including post-op open heart surgeries and mixed medical cases involving underlying heart conditions. Interdisciplinary support is available from physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services. Special equipment used in this unit includes BiPAP, chest tubes, and post-cardiac catheterization devices. Mandatory weekend coverage is required every other weekend. All nurses are expected to float within inpatient units to meet facility needs. This position does not require on-call duties. Travelers must have proper fit testing for facial hair or be willing to shave for safety compliance. Compliance documentation must be completed in accordance with facility standards. Reference checks are preferred at the time of submission. Candidates must be prepared to provide relevant certifications and charting system experience. Telematic nursing skills, especially in managing heart-related conditions, are crucial for this position.
