Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit
Location: Saint Louis, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,952 per week
Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16
Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is
working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Saint
Louis, Missouri, 63110! Registered Nurse, Registered Nurse, CVICU,
16 weeks, Night, 12, 2 years of experience required, Valid State
License required, ACLS, BLS Description: Can sign for 36 or 48
hours per week. RN CVICU, high acuity CCU requiring CVICU
experience. Start date is 3-4 weeks out per compliance tier.
Patient ratio is 1:2. Years of experience required: 2 years of
Cardiac/CVICU ICU experience required. First-timers are not
accepted. Every other weekend is required. On-call is not required.
Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs. Home
address must be at least 75 miles from the facility to be
considered. Up to 2 requests for time off are allowed, not to
exceed a total of 40 hours during contract. Special Requirements:
Needs to have Cardiac/CVICU ICU experience. No neuro experience
needed. ICU, ventilator management, arterial line management,
pulmonary artery catheter management required. Experience with
pacemakers, impellas, balloon pumps, LVADs is necessary. Must
manage acute heart failure, CHF exacerbation, fluid overload, post
cardiac arrest, complete heart block, cardiogenic shock, pre-heart
transplant, arrhythmias, and ventricular tachycardia. Experience
with vasoactive drips, central lines, PA/TVP catheter monitoring,
dialysis, and foley is required. Intra-aortic balloon pumps, LVADs,
and Impella experience is necessary. Candidate will need to pass
EKG exam. Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care. Total Staffed
Beds: 1,266. Charting system used is Epic. Staffing includes
interdisciplinary support from IV Teams, Physical Therapy,
Respiratory Services, and others. Daily census is approximately 14.
Unit consists of 20 beds. Candidates will float within the service
line as needed. Two supervisory references within the last two
years are preferred at the time of submittal. Travelers must have
facial hair that allows for proper testing for fit testing
purposes. No exceptions to shaving will be made for fit testing.
Valid Social Security Number is required by all candidates at the
time of submittal. Dates of birth are required as well. No time off
is allowed during the first week of an assignment. RTO should match
