ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours (must be indicated on submission form) • 13-week assignment length • Weekend work required every other weekend • No call requirements • Float as needed to similar or lower acuity units • Patient ratios: 1:5/6 • Minimum 1 year Med Surg experience required (inpatient only) • Current RN license (must be eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri) • Required certifications: BLS from AHA only • Preferred certifications: ACLS from AHA only • Work with medical patients using EPIC EMR system • Equipment includes bladder scanner, vein finder, IV pumps, wound vacs • Dress code requires black scrubs only • Must be available entire orientation week (night shift orients on day shift) • Flu vaccination or approved exemptions required November 1-April 1 • Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments • Physical demands include standing and walking most of duty time, lifting up to 50 lbs., and high risk exposure to blood and body fluids Facility: This healthcare facility has been serving the South County area for over 140 years and earned a B grade in The Leapfrog Group's Fall 2025 Hospital Safety Grade.
