This is the ideal unit for nurses who want to deepen their cardiovascular expertise and develop strong critical-thinking skills—while being backed by a collaborative care team Position Details: Registered Nurse (RN) or Graduate Nurse (GN) Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CPCU) Mercy Hospital South | St. Louis, MO Schedule: Full-Time | 36 hours/week Shift: Days and Nights Available Sign-On Bonus: * Experienced RNs: Up to $10,000 * Graduate Nurses (less than 1 year): Up to $5,000 ?? Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following: * Associate Degree in Nursing * Nursing Diploma * Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Licensure: Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations. Experience: Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit. Certifications: * Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications * Education: BSN preferred * Licensure: Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred * Experience: Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting Physical Requirements * Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly * Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift * Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties Why Mercy?
