In this role, you will provide critical surgical care, ensuring patient safety and supporting a team of healthcare professionals in a dynamic operating room environment. This position requires a compassionate approach and a commitment to high-quality patient outcomes, reflecting our core values and mission of holistic care. Assess patient conditions prior to surgery and develop appropriate nursing care plan. Prepare patients physically and emotionally for surgery, ensuring informed consent. Assist surgical team in the operating room by providing direct patient care and handling surgical instruments. Monitor patient vitals and administer medications as directed by the surgical team. Maintain a sterile environment in the operating room and ensure all equipment is functioning properly. Educate patients and their families on postoperative care and recovery expectations. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Strong clinical skills with a focus on surgical nursing Proficient in managing preoperative and postoperative patient care Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to respond quickly and efficiently in high-pressure situations Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
