Job Description:

As a dedicated RN in the Transplant Operating Room at SSM Health, you will be a pivotal member of our healthcare team, focusing on delivering high-quality, faith-based care in a state-of-the-art environment. Your expertise in perioperative nursing and patient care will support our mission to provide comprehensive health services across the Midwest. Provide preoperative and postoperative nursing care for transplant patients. Monitor patient vitals and adjust medical equipment settings as necessary during surgeries. Collaborate with transplant surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in patient and family education regarding transplant surgery processes and recovery. Maintain detailed patient records and ensure confidentiality and accuracy of documentation. Implement infection control measures within the operating room. Strong clinical skills in a surgical environment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in handling medical equipment Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced settings Knowledge of transplant surgery protocols and procedures Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Licensed as a Registered Nurse CPR certified Certified in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR) preferred
