SSM Health is seeking a dedicated RN-Pediatric for the Critical Care Nights position within our faith-based health system, which provides compassionate care across the Midwest. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, critical care to pediatric patients during nighttime hours. As part of our committed team, you will play a key role in maintaining our standards of excellent patient care, supporting both patients and their families in critical times. Provide critical care to pediatric patients, ensuring adherence to best practices and healthcare protocols. Monitor vital signs and health progress, and administer medications as prescribed. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans. Educate and support patients' families regarding the condition and care of their children. Maintain accurate patient records and report any significant changes in patient status to relevant healthcare providers. Participate in continuous education to keep up with advancements in pediatric critical care. Strong clinical skills in pediatric healthcare. Ability to operate critical healthcare equipment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Capability to work effectively under high pressure. Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Registered Nurse (RN) license. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification. Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification preferred but not mandatory.
