Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS and BCLS required Must-Have: - Telemetry experience - Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias - Experience with bedside procedures such as line insertion and thoracentesis - Experience managing cardiac drips - Knowledge of pre and post cardiac catheterization care Description: This position is for a registered nurse specializing in telemetry. The role involves providing patient care during the night shift. The nurse will be responsible for monitoring patients with cardiac conditions. Ratios for patient care are 1:5-6. Every other weekend is required for this role. The nurse must be willing to float to other units as needed. Experience caring for patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, and sepsis is preferred. Candidates will assist in bedside procedures and manage cardiac drips. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams is essential for patient support. Flexibility is expected to meet the needs of the facility. No on-call duty is required for this position. COVID-19 vaccination is not required, but flu vaccination may be mandated with allowable exemptions.
