ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN
Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours
per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year License: Current RN License in the
state of Missouri Certifications: BLS from AHA required; ACLS from
AHA preferred Must-Have: 1 year of Medical-Surgical experience,
inpatient only Description: Utilize the nursing process to provide
patient care. Maintain professional accountability for the
provision of patient care. Evaluate the overall effectiveness of
care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinate patient care
in conjunction with other departments. Maintain patient rights and
confidentiality of patient information. Perform duties and
responsibilities consistently with organizational mission, values,
and service standards. Perform direct patient care activities for
all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and
evaluation. Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with
ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort.
Function within the scope of nursing preparation and established
guidelines of nursing practice. Meet unit-specific physical
demands, including significant bending, stooping, lifting, and
turning patients with assistance. Work differing schedules or
shifts as required by patient care demands. Experience high-risk
exposure to blood and body fluids. Utilize the nursing process to
provide care for patients post-trauma, surgical interventions, and
