ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ICU Med Surg Job Details: • Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • Weekly guaranteed hours: 36 or 48 hours (must be indicated on submission form) • 13-week assignment length • Weekend hours required every other weekend • No call requirements • 16-bed Neurologic Intensive Care Unit • Patient ratio: 1:2 (ratios not guaranteed, consideration given based on circumstances) • May be floated to other units depending on staffing needs • Required: Current RN License (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed), BLS and ACLS from AHA only, NIHSS certification • Preferred: TNCC certification • 1 year ICU experience required (inpatient only) • Provide care for neuro, trauma, and surgical patients including acute stroke patients • Work with equipment including bedside telemetry, ventilators, bipap/cpap, ventriculostomy's, arterial lines, central lines, arctic sun, CRRT, Zoll • Use EPIC EMR system • Dress code: Black scrubs only, no hats, non-facility jackets/sweatshirts, or air pods • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1-April 1 • Position is auto-offer with flexible guaranteed hours and potential blocked scheduling Facility: This healthcare facility has been serving the South St. Louis County area for over 140 years, providing compassionate medical and specialty care.
