X-Ray Tech Location: Springfield, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,200 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: X-Ray Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience required. First-timers accepted. License: Must have an active state license. Certifications: ARRT, BLS required. Must-Have: - Required work setting experience: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, ER, ICU, NICU, Operating Room. - Required X-Ray skills/experience: Abdomen: Decubitus, Supine (KUB), Upright. Chest and Thorax: AP, Lateral Decubitus, Routine, Upper Airway (soft tissue neck). Head: Facial bones, Orbits, Paranasal sinuses, Skull, Temporomandibular joints. Lower Extremity: Ankle, Femur, Foot, Knee, Tibia-Fibula. Mobile/Surgical: C-Arm Procedure, Portable abdomen, Portable Chest. Spine and Pelvis: Cervical Spine, Hip, Lumbar Spine, Pelvis, Sacrum and/or Coccyx, Thoracic Spine. Upper Extremity: Clavicle, Elbow, Forearm, Hand, Scapula, Shoulder, Trauma shoulder or Humerus (Scapular Y, Transthoracic Axial), Wrist. Description: Position specialty is X-Ray Tech. Shifts are during nights, working three 12-hour shifts a week, with on-call and holiday requirements. Will work every other weekend and holidays as needed. On-call duties are required as needed. Clinician float is not required. Block schedule requests can be discussed with management. Local candidates are accepted with no radius restrictions. Pending licenses are not accepted; an active license is required to apply. RTO restrictions ideally allow for no more than 5 days. Client may call off up to 36 hours per 13-week assignment without compensation for the cancelled hours. Experience with Cerner is preferred. Prior Level I Trauma experience is preferred. The work will encompass various settings including ED/Trauma, OR, general inpatients and ICU, outpatients, fluoroscopy, and portable imaging. Candidates must be willing to sign up for call shifts. Floating is fully required across the facility. Candidates are expected to work during approximately two of three major holidays during the contract. For any other requirements, please refer to the job description for specifics. All candidates must comply with background policies. Any personnel must have been away for a minimum of 12 months before applying. Lab appointments and photo identification processes must be completed within one week of signing the contract.
