Nephrology - Physician at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital - SSM Health summary: The Clinical Nephrologist will provide comprehensive nephrology care including inpatient consults, outpatient clinic care, and chronic dialysis patient supervision while mentoring medical trainees in an academic hospital setting. This role involves active participation in clinical and academic initiatives at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, an academic medical center affiliated with Saint Louis University School of Medicine. Candidates must be board certified or eligible in nephrology and hold or be eligible for a Missouri medical license. SSM Health, SLUCare Physician Group and Saint Louis University School of Medicine are seeking a Clinical Nephrologist to join its faculty. This role offers the opportunity to practice general nephrology while contributing to the education and mentorship of medical trainees in a collaborative academic environment. Responsibilities: Provide state-of-the-art general nephrology care, including: Serving as attending physician on inpatient nephrology consult teams in the high-acuity SSM-SLUH hospital Caring for patients with kidney disease in the Nephrology outpatient clinic in the Center for Specialized Medicine Supervising the care of chronic dialysis patients in outpatient dialysis centers.
