Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Jefferson City, MO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,122 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years in specialty required License: MO or Compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHASAP Must-Have: Floating is required. 50% of holidays on contract. Essential job functions include: - Ability to work at the assigned work location throughout the full term of the contractual engagement. - Ability to work the substantial time of the assigned shift. - Ability to take call. - Ability to work assigned weekends. - Ability to work at least 50 percent of the holidays that occur during the contract. Description: This position requires experience in caring for adult and geriatric patients. 1st time travelers are accepted. Essential skills include blood product administration, central line blood draw, chest tube management, colostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP use, and others. Important skills also include interpretation of arterial blood gases, isolation precautions, and wound care management. Candidate will need experience with procedures such as insulin administration, peripheral line care, and starting and maintaining IVs. Interdisciplinary support is available from various services including physical therapy and respiratory services. All candidates must comply with COVID-19 and flu vaccine requirements.
