Certified Respiratory Therapist Location: Springfield, IL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,624 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/2/2026 About the Position Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: CRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Active IL license required to apply Certifications: BLS and RRT required Must-Have: - Adult Critical Care experience - Emergency Department experience - Required skills in airway management devices and suctioning - Required nebulizer skills - Required oxygen therapy skills - Required ventilator management skills - Experience with Cerner charting system Description: We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This position accepts either CRT or RRT qualifications. Shifts available are 3x12 Nights or 4x12s (1800-0630). This role requires working every other weekend. The selected candidate must be available for on-call duty as needed. They may float within their scope to meet facility needs. Candidates are encouraged to discuss scheduling requests with management. This position is open to locals with no radius restrictions. Pending licenses will not be accepted; an active Illinois license is required to apply. Time off restrictions ideally limit requests to no more than 5 days. There are specific caseload ratios and daily census expectations. This role involves working with adult patients in critical care and emergency situations. The candidate will be expected to manage various airway devices, perform suctioning, and handle nebulizer treatments. Skills in oxygen therapy devices and ventilator management are essential. Experience with specific charting systems is required. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching hospital experience or trauma center experience. The candidate must be prepared to handle high-pressure situations in critical care environments. This position offers the opportunity to expand clinical skills in a fast-paced setting.
