qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63110! Job

monitoring Care of ventilated patients Description: This position
requires working four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with
rotating starts as needed. The average daily census is between 70
to 90 patients, spread across 38 patient bays. The patient
population includes adults, occasional adolescents, and geriatric
patients in a high-acuity trauma setting. Surgical patients
recovered include those from neurosurgery, ENT, plastics,
orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, GYN,
urological, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and
transplant surgeries. Open-heart surgeries and liver transplants
are not included in the recovery of patients. This unit operates
24/7 and maintains a critical care profile, requiring staff to
manage patients requiring artificial airways, invasive monitoring,
transfusions, and vasoactive medications. The role involves
collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory
services and rapid response teams. Experience with drains,
vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general
anesthesia is essential for this position. Candidates must
demonstrate the ability to work in a high-acuity inpatient PACU
