Job Title: Electrophysiology Technician Profession: Technologist Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in relevant field License: Required Certifications: ARRT; BLS Must-Have: Experience with electrophysiology cases, specifically ablations Description: Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting. Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts according to physician specifications and/or orders. Assist the physician with the performance of various diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor and pass instruments and catheters, observing patient response to procedures while maintaining a sterile field. Interpret and evaluate diagnostic data to be utilized by the physician. Applicable Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Radiology required or completion of an accredited radiology technology program. Experience with special procedures preferred. 1 night of call per week and 1 weekend every 4th weekend required.
