Job Description:
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per
Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of
experience and 1 year in the specialty License: Must hold a valid
license Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH required Must-Have: 1st time
traveler accepted, Cerner preferred, COVID-19 and Flu vaccines
required (medical/religious exemptions only) Description: The
Registered Nurse will work in a Progressive Care Unit. The nurse
will have a patient care ratio of 1:5. Floating to various areas
will be required. Travelers are expected to float to any area as a
Patient Observer (sitter). Every other weekend requirement is
mandatory. The nurse will be required to complete modules during
orientation and annually. Two references from a charge nurse or
above are required. Expectation to complete 50% of holidays and
weekends on contract. Scrub colors include royal blue or black.
Orientation consists of 8 non-billable hours.
