Job Description:
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty:
Progressive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per
Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years of
nursing experience, with at least 1 year in specialty License: Must
have MO or Compact licensure in hand Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
Must-Have: First-time travelers accepted Cerner preferred Mandatory
floating to various units Description: The Registered Nurse will
provide high-quality nursing care in the Progressive Care Unit.
Ratios will be 1:5. Every other weekend is required. Floating to
other areas will be mandatory as needed. Scrub color is royal blue
or black. The COVID-19 vaccine is required with medical/religious
exemptions only. The flu vaccine is also required with
medical/religious exemptions only. Travelers can start with certain
credentials pending. References from two charge nurses or above
will be required. 50% of holidays and weekends on contract are
required, unless stated otherwise. Modules are completed during
orientation and annually, varying by specialty. All travelers can
expect to float to any area as needed.
