Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Medical Surgical Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BCLS, NIH, Fire Safety required Must-Have: EPIC experience required Description: The position involves providing nursing care to medical surgical oncology patients. The nurse will work nights with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5-6. Weekend shifts are required, which can be Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Experience in Medical, Surgical, and Oncology nursing is necessary. The facility is an acute care hospital with a total of 233 staffed beds. All clinicians will float within their scope to meet facility needs. No on-call requirements exist for this position. It is important to note that the flu vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions only. Candidates must meet specific charting experience requirements. All travelers should be aware of policies regarding references and background checks.
