qualified PCU RN in Saint Louis, Missouri, 63128! Pay Information
$2,186 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse
Profession: RN Specialty: Step Down Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night
Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Step
Down nursing License: Current RN License in the state of Missouri
Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only Must-Have
Skills/Experience: 1 year of Step Down experience, inpatient only.
Experience with Trach and Vent patients is essential. Description:
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains
professional accountability for provision of patient care.
Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other
direct caregivers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with
other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of
patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a
manner consistent with the organization's mission and values.
Provides direct patient care activities for all age groups
including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary
departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within
the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the
established guidelines of nursing practice. Meets unit specific
physical demands. Significant amount of bending and stooping may be
required. May require lifting and turning patients with assistance.
High risk exposure to blood and body fluids is expected. Physical
demands include pushing, pulling, and gripping. Utilizes the
nursing process to provide care for patients with trauma, surgical
interventions, and medical comorbidities. Evaluates the overall
effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers.
Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient
information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner
consistent with the organization's mission and values.
