Job Description:
A food manufacturer in South County is seeking a Supply Room
Supervisor for medium size production factory, past experience a
must and military supply is a plus. A clean criminal history for
the past 10 years; drug test conducted and must be able to work up
to 10 hours, six days a week, day shift and have a high school
diploma or GED.
Know how to receive materials, keep effective inventory, and order
supplies that are continually consumed and replaced. Experience in
developing good working relationships with supply vendors in order
to meet our inventory and consumption goals. Provide weekly updates
on the status of materials and equipment, and be able to track
usage to establish ordering timelines. Working knowledge of a
triggered event re-ordering system that keeps just enough inventory
on hand of highly used items, and allows time to get replacement
orders. Establish an accountability system to holds employees
accountable for equipment they sign for daily and can track what
they receive annually. Working knowledge of Microsoft and Excel
required.
