Job Description Job Description VP of Operations VP of Operations Position Overview The VP of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the execution of our business strategies. This role will involve managing various operational departments, optimizing processes, and driving operational excellence to support our growth in the construction of single-family homes. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency across all departments. Oversee construction operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Manage purchasing processes to secure materials and negotiate favorable terms with suppliers. Lead warranty operations, addressing customer concerns and resolving issues effectively to enhance satisfaction. Supervise field operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Collaborate with executive leadership to align operational goals with company objectives. Analyze operational performance metrics and implement improvements as necessary. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management, with a focus on construction and property development. Proven track record in overseeing large-scale projects, particularly in single-family home construction. Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and supply chain management. Experience in warranty operations and customer service in the construction industry. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
