Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is hiring Aerodynamic
Stability & Control Engineers to perform Aerodynamic Stability &
Control analysis for Phantom Works projects in Berkeley, MO .
The position covers wide-ranging responsibilities, including
aerodynamic design development, air data systems development,
aerodynamic testing, aerodynamic analyses, certification, and
flight testing.
Aerodynamic Stability & Control Engineers support the Fighter and
Unmanned Aircraft projects. You can expect to apply your skills in
Air Data Systems design, analysis and testing in Flight disciplines
to meet our customers' requirements.

Position Responsibilities:
Conduct aerodynamic design and analysis tasks to support air
vehicle design development. - Detailed tasks span the air vehicle
development arc, including:
Vehicle sizing, configuration development and design sufficiency
studies
Wind tunnel test planning, execution and data analysis
Aerodynamic 6-DOF model development from wind tunnel, CFD and other
data sources
Aerodynamic data integration into 6-DOF flight simulation and
simulation of vehicle trajectories
Flight test planning, execution and data analysis
Flight model correction
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. - The selected
candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed
location options.
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time; Domestically and/or
Internationally depending on business needs.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in
engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing
engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data
science, or computer science
(Level 3) 5+ years of work related experience with a Bachelor's or
3+ years of work related experience with a Master's or work related
experience with a PhD
(Level 4) 9+ years of work related experience with a Bachelor's or
7+ years of work related experience with a Master's or 4+ years of
work related experience with a PhD
(Level 5) 14+ years of work related experience with a Bachelor's or
12+ years of work related experience with a Master's or 9+ years of
work related experience with a PhD
Experience with Industrial Aerodynamics Test and Analyses

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well
as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range (Experienced, level 3): $93,500 - $126,500
Summary pay range (Senior, level 4): $113,900 - $154,100
Summary pay range (Senior, level 5): $138,550 - $187,450
