(ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1
year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

Language Interpreter to support communication within a school
setting. This role involves facilitating effective communication
between hearing and deaf or hard-of-hearing students, staff, and
families, ensuring an inclusive educational environment. Key
Responsibilities: Interpret spoken language into sign language and
vice versa during classroom instruction and school events Assist in
communication during meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and
extracurricular activities Collaborate with educators and support
staff to provide appropriate accommodations Ensure accurate and
clear interpretation to promote understanding and participation
Travel to multiple school locations within the area as needed
Desired Experience and Qualifications: Proficiency in American Sign
Language (ASL) with strong interpreting skills Previous experience
working as a sign language interpreter in educational settings
preferred Understanding of educational terminology and classroom
dynamics Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in
all interactions Flexibility and willingness to travel between
school sites Location: Based in Saint Louis, MO, with travel
