Project Overview:
HTC is looking for an experienced Edifecs Developer/Production
Support Analyst to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity
within our Healthcare practice to join our established team of
professionals as on a transformation project focused on the
transition/migration from Tibco Business Works to Edifecs. This
role will focus heavily on the client's production environment.
Highlights and responsibilities are outlined below:
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor Edifecs infrastructure and
applications for errors, outages, or performance issues.
- Alerting and Escalation: Promptly identify and escalate
critical issues to developers or relevant teams for
resolution.
- Incident Management: Follow established procedures for
resolving incidents, documenting actions taken, and communicating
updates to stakeholders.
- Change Management: Participate in testing and deployment of new
Edifecs configurations and updates.
- Reporting: Generate reports on system performance, errors, and
incidents for analysis and improvement.
- User Support: Provide basic troubleshooting and support to
users encountering issues with Edifecs integrations.
- Documentation: Maintain and update production support
documentation for Edifecs processes and procedures. Required
Technical Skills:
- Edifecs Expertise:
- Thorough understanding of Edifecs technology, platform, and its
integration with the client's systems. This includes EDI mapping,
translation, validation, and routing processes.
- Expertise in Edifecs XEngine, EAM, and Specbuilder EDI
tool
- Edifecs Cloud Experience:
- Familiarity with cloud-based EDI platforms and deployment,
particularly in the context of Edifecs.
- Tibco Business Works Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of Tibco Business Works architecture,
processes, and configuration. Understanding how data flows and
transformations were handled in the previous system is crucial for
mapping them to Edifecs.
- EDI Transactions:
- Expertise in Health Insurance HIPAA EDI transactions (270/271,
276/277, 835, 834, 837)
- Data Integration Skills:
- Familiarity with data manipulation tools and techniques for ETL
(Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data warehousing.
- Dashboards/Reporting:
- Power BI highly preferred but not required. Overall familiarity
with building dashboards and custom reports is required.
- Troubleshooting Skills:
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to EDI
transactions, data mapping errors, and system integrations. Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Monitoring and Alerting:
- Setting up and managing monitoring systems for Edifecs platform
and EDI transactions to proactively identify and address potential
issues. Nice to Have Skills
- Java: Understanding Java fundamentals can be helpful for
debugging issues within Tibco Business Works processes or
integrations with Java applications.
- Angular: If the client's Edifecs implementation utilizes
Angular for web interfaces, basic knowledge of Angular can be
beneficial for troubleshooting UI-related issues.
